Riot Games has frequently released somewhat controversial updates this season, especially with their incredibly perplexing buff/nerf decisions. And the newly announced update 10.15 yesterday is no exception as the community believes Riot Games has made mistakes again, particularly in ruining a balanced champion like Lee Sin, Thresh, or Twisted Fate. Details of patch 10.15:

System Changes
Nerfed the Spellbook rune: The starting cooldown increased from 240s to 300s, and the cooldown of summoner spells increased from 20s to 25s.
Buffed the Spell Thief’s Blade
Energy restoration from the Spell Thief’s Blade increased from 25% to 50%.
Energy restoration from the Ice Spike increased from 50% to 75%.
Bonus AP from the Ice Spike Fragment increased from 45 to 50.
Nerfs
Aphelios
The cooldown for the Watchtower (Ascension form ability) increased from 0.25s to 0.35s. The attack range of the Watchtower decreased from 575 to 500.

The number of sparks from Runaan’s Hurricane decreased from 4 to 3, and the sparks when critically striking decreased from 8 to 5. The length of the sparks created by Runaan’s Hurricane is now reduced to 100.

Streamer Riste (one champ Garen Challenger): I really enjoy what you do but I oppose Ornn’s update. Ornn is a tank, so a good sustain is acceptable, but the damage he deals is too high to accept.
Riot doesn’t want Ornn to play as a tank since patch 9.1 because they buffed his damage too high.

Irelia is fine already, there’s no need to adjust this champion.
Twisted Fate is at a balanced level, but Riot wants to disrupt this and nerf the W – Pick a Card ability, which greatly affects his laning capability and makes him weaker than before. This really has a larger impact than the previous two buffs combined, is there something wrong with you?

Besides nerfing Aphelios, Riot Games’ updates in this patch are mostly unreasonable or ruin a champion that is in a balanced state in League of Legends. Twisted Fate or Lee Sin are examples of champions that are not overwhelming in solo ranks but still got nerfed, leaving the community very dissatisfied.
