A DK Superstar Underperformed in the Match Against T1
In the victory against T1, it can be said that the players from DK showcased exceptional performances. Especially, with 3 winning games revolving around Dragon Souls, along with a perfect 50-50 Smite contest, Lucid was the standout player, and his MVP award is completely understandable. However, among the 5 names on DK, ShowMaker inadvertently had the “most underperforming” display in the nail-biting victory against T1.

Accordingly, in all 5 games, ShowMaker’s biggest impact was probably only in… game 3 with Ahri, where he made some very precise Charm plays, working with Lucid to maintain the Mid Lane tower, thereby setting the stage for DK to counterattack when both flanks were heavily behind. Otherwise, ShowMaker was significantly outperformed by his teammates. If Faker hadn’t had an even more disappointing day, then perhaps DK’s Mid Lane would have been lost a long time ago.

Even many opinions suggest that if evaluated critically, it can be said that the 4 young players of DK have “carried” their older brother and captain very well. And at the same time, the inexplicable decline in form of Faker and DK’s victory also contributed to “helping” ShowMaker avoid much criticism.
– If DK had lost today, ShowMaker would have tasted suffering
– Luckily, Faker didn’t perform any better
– DK only had ShowMaker underperforming, while T1 had the whole team

DK’s Progress Depends Heavily on ShowMaker
In the upcoming matches, DK will face teams with extremely excellent midlaners currently, namely Vicla and Chovy. These are players that ShowMaker cannot expect to decline like Faker, and the skill level of these superstars is so high that it could lead the 2020 World Champion to “suffer” if he performs unconvincingly as he did in the last match.
