When it comes to names deserving recognition in the legendary hall of Na`Vi, particularly in the CIS region, Ioann “Edward” Sukhariev is undoubtedly a prime candidate. He began his professional CS career in 2004 and was dubbed the “Pistol King” for his outstanding highlight plays. In 2009, he joined Na`Vi, and over nearly a decade donning the Yellow-Black colors, Edward and his teammates achieved numerous prestigious titles such as the ESL One New York 2016 championship, StarSeries & i-League Season 5 and Season 7 championships, ESL One: Cologne 2018 championship, along with two second-place finishes at Major MLG: Columbus 2016 and FACEIT: Major London 2018. Personally, he has appeared three times in the list of the top 20 players of the year as voted by HLTV: #16 in 2013, #15 in 2011, and #5 in 2010.

An outstanding highlight from Edward in the Na`Vi jersey

In May 2019, Edward moved to the bench to make way for the young talent QBF Boombl4 and he transferred to play for Winstrike on loan. After four months of not-so-successful performances, he returned to the Na`Vi bench in September 2019 and has not played since. However, yesterday Edward officially returned to the professional scene wearing the Seclectah jersey, a newly formed team consisting of former players from the CIS region. His teammates include names like tappa, a former member of Hell and kill; smike, a former member of pro100; and Kvik, a former member of QBF, a team that reached the top 8 at the ELEAGUE Boston Major.

The first tournament that Edward and his teammates participated in is the CTRL PLAY League, a CS:GO tournament for teams in the CIS region featuring strong contenders like Gambit Youngsters, Hard Legion, and Vega Squadron Academy, with a total prize pool of 2,000,000 Rub (~$30,000 USD); however, Seclectah was unable to advance past the first qualifying round, facing teams like FLuffy Gangsters and Cyber Legacy. The second qualifying round of this tournament will take place in a few days, and we hope Edward and his teammates will achieve good results to secure a spot in the main event of the tournament.
