Henry “HenryG” Greer is a familiar name among CS:GO fans worldwide, regarded as one of the finest casters with his eloquence, rich vocabulary, and exceptional ability to convey emotions to the audience. During the 2018 – 2019 period, he and Sadokist were one of the most beloved duos, frequently appearing in the finals of prestigious tournaments.

However, earlier this week, HenryG unexpectedly became the main topic on CS:GO forums globally after Kelly Jean, a famous cosplayer and his ex-girlfriend, accused HenryG of being an emotional, verbal, and psychological abuser. Not only that, in her Twitlonger, she also alleged that HenryG had sexual relations with her without consent. Kelly shared that she decided to tell her story because “Women, especially vulnerable ones, deserve the chance to avoid dating and engaging with someone with a history of abuse.”

In her Twitlonger, Kelly described their meeting on New Year’s Eve earlier this year and asserted that HenryG intentionally engaged with her when she was not sober and did not consent to it. After this meeting, the two had discussions on Discord, where HenryG apologized for his actions and promised not to see her again. In her Twitlonger, she also accused Henry of being abusive by often: blaming, shouting, intentionally embarrassing her (even in public), and psychologically abusing and threatening her when she decided to break up.
Following these allegations, Kelly received support from the community and public figures for bravely standing up and speaking out against sexual assault on women working in the gaming industry. However, some expressed caution, stating that every story has three sides and that HenryG’s perspective should be heard for a fair assessment.
This morning, after a day of silence, HenryG officially responded to Kelly’s allegations, expressing sadness over how things between them reached this point while also denying all allegations related to sexual or physical abuse as claimed by Kelly.

According to HenryG’s account, on that New Year’s Eve, both used cannabis and indeed engaged in sexual relations, but HenryG immediately stopped when Kelly said she wasn’t feeling well, and he stayed up all night to watch over her. HenryG also provided evidence in the form of a WhatsApp chat in which Kelly admitted that there was no incident of rape on that New Year’s Eve.

“I just want you to understand how I felt on that New Year’s Eve. We both know that it was not rape. I also don’t think it was an attack, but you know that you hurt me because of your selfishness. I hope you will be careful and not do the same to anyone else because that is what worries me. I really don’t care about anything else, and it’s fine if we don’t talk anymore from now on.”
Subsequently, HenryG shared some chat logs between him and Kelly, showing that in May, she had visited his home in London, and the three of them, including his current girlfriend, had a frank discussion where no accusations were made. HenryG described this conversation as “difficult but very necessary, and it helped me realize what we did wrong in that relationship, and what I did wrong myself.” He then posted a chat log showing that they resolved their conflicts and were ready to move on.

Kelly: “I never mentioned doctors as an insult. Sometimes I feel like you always think I’m insulting you, but in relationships, it’s quite normal for a partner to try to help you through tough times, but you seem always on guard.”
“We’re still talking about it, Kelly.” I apologize for continuously bringing up the past, but I feel I haven’t received straightforward answers on many issues.
I will accept that our perspectives on this issue will always differ. If you feel uncomfortable, I will accept that. I hope you will also consider what I have said.
HenryG: I have and always will take these seriously. I also hope that you won’t just suddenly show up again. That’s not fair.
Kelly: I apologize and will not do that again. Moreover, taking an Uber to Acton just to cry is a waste of money and not enjoyable at all.
HenryG also stated that he “strongly supports women who have bravely come forward to share their experiences of sexual assault and abuse in the gaming industry.” Henry also mentioned that he would not comment further on the matter and would trust the community to recognize the truth.
Kelly’s allegations come at a time when many women in the gaming industry have spoken out about the sexual assaults and abuses they have experienced over the years, involving many famous streamers and content creators. Kelly has currently set her Twitter account to private.
UPDATE: Shortly after HenryG’s response, Kelly denied what HenryG wrote, calling it “not true” and provided a Twitlonger with details differing from what Henry stated.
