The controversial LPL host displays indecent behavior on her livestream channel
Among the new generation of female hosts/commentators in LPL, few have sparked as much controversy and scandal as Luo Xin. Initially gaining admiration for her beauty and solid League of Legends expertise, Luo Xin’s off-camera life has been quite tumultuous, especially after her involvement with the infamous rapper PGOne. Recently, she has again tarnished her image in the eyes of fans.
As we know, many female hosts of LPL have recently taken to livestreaming to supplement their income. Luo Xin is no exception. However, when she was asked to perform more provocative dances to increase views, the host reacted harshly. She wasn’t shy about cursing at the audience that made the suggestion. In fact, she even raised her “middle finger” live on air, igniting a wave of anger among LPL viewers.
Shortly after, the female host faced negative comments from the audience and had to end her stream earlier than usual. “She has always gone to extremes to attract attention, and now she’s simply reaping what she has sown,” one harsh comment read.
The future of the female host’s career may be in jeopardy
Luo Xin’s reaction has highlighted a dark side of livestreaming: when trying to capture the audience’s attention by any means, even through inappropriate requests, female streamers (in this case, Luo Xin) may one day have to “pay the price” if they can’t control their boundaries.
As for the audience, perhaps there should be a more forgiving perspective towards Luo Xin and other female hosts of LPL as well as female streamers in general. The livestreaming industry always presents many challenges, and sometimes female streamers themselves cannot control the risks that may come their way, leading to negative reactions that seem quite normal.
