Not only in the LCK but in the League of Legends community as a whole, Faker and T1 are revered names that boast a massive fanbase. Even in the “rival” region of LCK, the fan count for Faker is impressive. Therefore, every move related to T1 or Faker can spark endless debates, sometimes over seemingly trivial reasons. This was the case for a YouTuber who recently faced trouble for inadvertently touching on T1 and Faker in his content.

According to reports, a YouTuber who is also a chef uploaded content related to a restaurant where he works. However, the price of one of the dishes was “1557”. This figure attracted a large amount of comments, both positive and negative, not to mention the video might have been reported. As a result, the male chef had to take it down 2 to 3 times before it settled down.

For those who may not know, “1557” is a memorable embarrassment for the players of SKT T1 in 2019. At that MSI, SKT T1 was devastated by Invictus Gaming, who were then home to some of the most outstanding League of Legends players in the LPL, in just 15 minutes and 57 seconds. This was also the shortest match in history between top teams from LPL and LCK. Since then, the number “1557” has become a haunting reminder for fans of SKT T1/T1 and can easily spark debates within the League of Legends community.

However, some opinions suggest that this was not intentional on the part of the YouTuber, and it seems some viewers are genuinely exaggerating the issue.

Currently, T1 is also not performing well. The team has just suffered its third consecutive loss and its fifth since the start of the LCK Summer 2024 group stage. Therefore, any actions, whether intentional or not, can easily provoke discussions, reactions ranging from positive to negative from the League of Legends community, especially from T1 fans.
