The anti-fan group attacking Gumayusi is suspected of violating the law
A few days ago, after T1 lost to Gen.G, Gumayusi became the target of attacks from T1Gall – the fervent anti-fan group of this player right in the land of kimchi. Offensive wreaths with the most severe insults and protest banners were placed and stuck all around the T1 headquarters.
Even prominent KOLs, experts, and the global League of Legends audience expressed outrage over this action. Renowned caster/streamer Caedrel publicly criticized the T1Gall group continuously on his streaming channel.

However, recent information from LCK suggests that T1Gall may have violated local laws by sending wreaths and subsequently hanging banners opposing Gumayusi. Specifically, according to some published information, sending the wreaths was indeed permitted beforehand. But the hanging of the banners was not approved by the city council (in this case, Seoul). This action violates South Korea’s Outdoor Advertising Law.

However, T1 has not yet made any statement regarding Gumayusi’s recent incident
Despite the protests from the global League of Legends community and the movement pushing the hashtag to protect Gumayusi from his fans, T1 remains “silent” about the incident, leaving Gumayusi’s fans increasingly frustrated. Throughout the attacks on the AD Carry born in 2002, T1 has shown almost no significant response, if not total silence, allowing T1Gall to “run rampant”.

A critical stage of the season is approaching, and players need maximum focus. But if the management unit does not intend to protect the player, fans cannot feel secure about the performance or morale of their beloved team, especially when Gumayusi is an extremely important pillar.
