AoE in Vietnam has reached where it is today not only thanks to the efforts of team owners and professional gamers but also the significant contributions of the fan community, which deserves attention and recognition.

In addition to major tournaments like AoE Vietnam-China, Hanoi Open, Thai Binh Open, and Nghe An Open, competitions for semi-professional gamers have also been gaining attention.
Notably, we must mention the AoE Bé Yêu Cup, which honors the legend Bé Yêu, who elevated the live streaming of AoE to a new height and brought AoE to fans nationwide. Although he passed away at a young age, his contributions to the AoE community deserve to be celebrated as a legend.

The first tournament for semi-professional gamers worth mentioning is the AoE Inter-Province Tournament, which has showcased a series of top talents in AoE Vietnam such as U98, Kamachi Love, Xuân Thứ, etc. This tournament is a talent search organized by GTV.

Additionally, following Garena’s departure, GTV Plus has emerged as a platform for AoE competitions, allowing fans and semi-professional gamers to meet and interact with each other.
Not disappointing the expectations of semi-professional gamers, GTV Plus is increasingly proving itself to be an organization that cares about and develops the community with a series of tournaments for semi-professional gamers featuring extremely attractive prize pools.

Most recently, GTV Plus launched the AoE Cơm Canh Cà tournament, attracting thousands of viewers. Moreover, the tournament also gathered numerous big names in the AoE community such as Dinosaur, Xman, Đinh Xuân Canh,… Along with the largest prize pool ever in grassroots tournaments. The Cơm Canh Cà tournament promises to be a platform for discovering young talent and bringing the AoE community in Vietnam closer together.
With the new GTV 2.0 software promising explosive growth in semi-professional AoE tournaments, competitions for the fan community will be held monthly, serving as a bridge to help AoE fans and foster the development of the AoE community. Who knows, we might unexpectedly discover prodigies and new talents that will help AoE thrive again?
