Uzi’s skin line causes controversy, especially when compared to Faker
Recently, Uzi’s Hall of Legends skin has officially revealed its first images, including splash art, border… and some in-game images of the most expensive skin line in the League of Legends system. However, already controversial since Uzi was announced to have a second HoL skin after Faker, these skins have sparked even more debate following the official information release, especially regarding design and pricing.
According to many opinions, in terms of design, the HoL Kai’Sa skin is even considered inferior to the IG Kai’Sa skin from Invictus Gaming. Moreover, the IG skin has long been regarded as one of the most beautiful skins in the history of League of Legends. Therefore, creating a skin for Kai’Sa is truly challenging.
Additionally, the price of Uzi’s HoL skin is, of course, still aligned with Faker’s skin price. But this is where the controversy escalates. Many believe that Uzi has never even won a World Championship in his career, making it unreasonable for the skin price to be on par with the greatest player in the League of Legends scene. Furthermore, Uzi’s skin lacks the full special effects in terms of design and significance. The excessively high price of this skin line could lead to even more hatred towards it.

But since Riot has decided, Uzi’s skin will likely face criticism and comparisons with Faker until Riot releases another HoL skin in the future.
