Coach Tabe Specially Praises T1
Among the coaches currently serving at First Stand 2026, Coach Tabe is certainly noteworthy. The former captain of BLG can be called a “genius” in the professional League of Legends scene, being one of the rare coaches at this time who can elevate an entire team. Notably, he also has many “fate ties” with T1, and many fans were deeply disappointed not to witness Tabe compete against T1 in this year’s First Stand. However, during the interview, he still evaluated his opponents in the LCK very highly and believes that T1’s mentality is a “weapon” that LPL teams have yet to obtain.
Accordingly, the current coach of JDG commented: “I think the most important part is that LCK players have a very good understanding of the game. Moreover, their skills are undeniable, always at the peak. But what’s special is their mentality, like… if I had to evaluate champions, for example T1, then each player on their team is S-tier. You could say they have no weaknesses.”
It can be said that Coach Tabe has experienced the “steel-like” mentality of T1 in particular and LCK top teams in general more than anyone, as he has suffered defeats against both T1 and Gen.G – the two strongest teams in the LCK currently. Most recently, in the 2025 season, Tabe’s AL lost both times facing T1 in the two most important international tournaments in the League of Legends scene, namely MSI and Worlds.
