With the pandemic evolving in complex ways, it’s completely normal for people to stay indoors day after day. However, this can be incredibly boring, so creating some kind of activity to engage in during this long period is extremely necessary. Some might choose to exercise indoors, plant some greenery, or do other things, but for gamers, the passion for gaming is perhaps more than enough.

Yet, some are not satisfied with just playing games normally; instead, an American gamer has found a new way to play League of Legends. Specifically, this guy used a controller designed for the game Guitar Heroes for this experiment. He programmed and designed this new controller to perform the simplest actions such as using the abilities Q, W, E, R, or summoner spells.
Normally, the Guitar Heroes controller resembles a real guitar, featuring 5 buttons on the neck and one button on the body of the guitar. This guy assigned the three basic skill buttons Q, W, E and two summoner spell buttons to the 5 buttons on the neck, with the ultimate ability on the button located on the body. Additionally, he set up the lever on the body to control the mouse.
Of course, changing habits from using a mouse and keyboard to a controller will take a lot of time. As seen in the video, during his first match, he had to play Garen, a champion without skill shots to get accustomed to. Later, when switching to play Olaf, he kept missing his axe throw, and his actions were so unusual that his opponent even asked if he was okay.

Perhaps due to not being able to adapt to this way of playing, our creative gamer decided to return to playing Garen. The result was that he still lost the match, but the progress was that he no longer fed completely; he managed to secure a kill. While it wasn’t a monumental achievement, such a happy moment helped the gamer somewhat forget the long days of social distancing.
