The backstage image of NS leaves the LoL community stunned
LCK 2025 has undergone changes in format to elevate the quality of teams, as well as to ensure that audiences do not have to watch overly one-sided matches. However, so far, it seems that the LCK organizers’ plans have not been fully realized, as the top three teams—Gen.G, HLE, T1—are still significantly superior to the rest. Among the bottom teams, perhaps no team is as “dire” as NS right now.
During the break between the NS – KT match last week, a photo circulated showing NS players discussing the match amongst themselves, with Lehends taking the lead to check in and discuss with teammates. Meanwhile, many believe that NS’s coaching staff was absent from the waiting room to strategize with the players.
However, the reality may not be as it seems. Perhaps the NS players simply did not gather as closely as some other teams. And their coach was still there to discuss the previous game with the players, rather than exhibiting such a level of discouragement as to abandon their position.
NS’s season may soon come to an end
At this point, the possibility of NS advancing is still there, thanks to their good results before entering the current group stage. However, based on their performance, it’s hard to believe NS will go far in the playoffs. In fact, if they have to face DK or OKBRO in the lower bracket, victory is not guaranteed for NS given their performance and mindset has hit rock bottom.
Therefore, it’s possible that this season for NS has already ended, and their efforts to compete now are merely about salvaging what they can, before thinking about rebuilding for next season.
