While waiting for the official tournaments to return, climbing ranks is one of the effective measures that players use to keep their skills sharp and practice, getting accustomed to the new season. Alongside this, T1 players still maintain their streaming schedule as usual to interact with fans. After the recent championship at Worlds 2023, T1 members have also been streaming more actively, giving fans more opportunities to meet their idols. However, in reality, this is not a good situation at all.

Recently, Keria shared his exhaustion on stream while chatting with Zeus: “Honestly, I don’t know if it’s okay to say this. But since the beginning of the year, it’s been 11 days and I have streamed for 8 days already. I’m really very tired but I’m still not meeting my KPI. But it’s not about how long I stream; it’s that I don’t have time to practice anymore.” Afterward, both Zeus and Keria took a brief pause before returning to work.
In reality, it’s not just the streaming hours; all T1 players have been caught up in a hectic schedule after winning the Worlds 2023. In fact, when images of Faker rubbing his hands at a RedBull event in Germany surfaced, many fans feared that the “Chairman”‘s injury would recur. Other players have also begun to appear on livestreams with increased frequency. This is concerning, especially when other teams in the LCK or T1 in the past typically streamed around 30-35 hours a month.
Many fans are concerned that the continuous livestreaming itself is exhausting the players. But more seriously, they could suffer injuries or burnout if they overwork. While T1 certainly needs to build their image, the players also need time to focus on their primary profession, which is professional League of Legends and the upcoming matches.

However, since the players have spoken out, perhaps T1 will need to rearrange their schedule appropriately. In just a few days, the LCK Spring 2024 will return, and T1 management understands how important practice is if they want to remain at the top of the glory they worked hard to achieve in 2023.
