Currently, Bilibili Gaming can be said to be one of the most talked-about teams in the LPL Spring 2022. Not only do they have one of the legends of the tournament, Uzi, but the rest of the BLG roster is also extremely high quality. Evidence of this is their 3 victories against very tough opponents like WBG, OMG, and RA. BLG only succumbed to the cunning RNG led by Xiaohu and Ming.

Although they are on a winning streak, an experienced player like Doinb does not think highly of Bilibili Gaming. In fact, during his recent stream, Doinb openly “called out” the weaknesses of his former teammate Crisp. The 2019 World Champion believes that no one in BLG can control Crisp, and this will cost them in the future.

Doinb: “Let me tell you this, BLG looks very strong this season, but it’s hard for them to go far. The reason is that no one there can control Crisp, not even Uzi. When we used to play together, I often had to find ways to calm Crisp down because he couldn’t control himself and was easily trapped by the opponent.”
“So if you see Crisp playing support champions that buff, he is very likely to die repeatedly. This situation improves a bit when Crisp plays tanky champions, but generally, supports are very easy to die, so it doesn’t change much.”

Fairly assessing the 4 opponents BLG has faced, RNG is the team with the greatest composure and is also in the championship contention group. Therefore, when facing RNG, we can see that Crisp has exposed his weakness in maintaining composure, as he often gets caught out due to positional errors. In fact, this weakness directly led to BLG’s loss against RNG.

As Doinb shared, when they played together at FPX, he was the one who controlled Crisp’s loss of composure. However, when he moved to a new team, this was no longer the case. It’s possible that during the group stage, Crisp’s weakness may not be clearly shown, but when entering the playoffs, this lack of composure could lead to BLG being eliminated early. For this reason, Doinb is right to suggest that BLG will struggle to progress far with their current lineup.
