A few days ago, the League of Legends community in general and LCK fans in particular were surprised to see the current state of Crown – the legendary player from the Samsung Galaxy 2017 era. Not only did he end the reign of SKT T1, but Crown was also seen as Faker’s “arch-nemesis.” However, behind the glory, Crown’s current life has left many fans feeling sorrowful.

While Crown received a lot of sympathy for a player who has contributed greatly to League of Legends and LCK, recently, another former World Champion also took to the internet to share his struggles. However, this person did not garner sympathy but rather received a barrage of criticism.
This character is Toyz – the World Champion of 2012 – the second season of the highest-level League of Legends tournament. Furthermore, Toyz is regarded as the “Best Orianna” while Taipei Assassins is the only team outside of the four regions LCK, LPL, LEC, and LCS to have crowned at the World Championship. To this day, no team outside of these four regions has been able to replicate TPA’s achievement.

However, unlike other champions, after the glory, Toyz not only fell from grace but also revealed himself to be a toxic figure. In fact, at the end of 2021, Toyz was even arrested for drug trafficking. It can be said that many world champions have fallen hard, but Toyz has destroyed his own future.
Nevertheless, the former TPA star decided to “follow” Crown’s example and took to social media to share his struggles in hopes of gaining the audience’s sympathy. He even wanted to sell his commemorative ring from the World Championship, which infuriated the community. Some even directly called Toyz “shameless” for trying to sell his reputation.

However, there is a portion of LPL fans who took the opportunity to poke fun at Uzi. To this day, the title that the “Super Marksman” of LPL lacks is the World Championship title. This is also a regret for League of Legends in China but a topic for anti-fans to attack Uzi whenever possible.

Toyz has indeed ruined his own life, and there is no doubt about that. His current actions as a former TPA star only serve to desperately salvage his past reputation. As for Uzi, he has now returned to the professional arena. Of course, he is no longer the number one choice, but at least Uzi has been, is, and will strive for the one title missing from his career: the World Championship title.
