As we know, since the latter half of March 2024, VCS Spring 2024 has been in crisis as the tournament had to be postponed and the final week of matches canceled due to allegations of misconduct. Subsequently, an announcement from VCS about 32 individuals continuing to be investigated further has left League of Legends fans in Vietnam even more bewildered, especially since no team seems to be innocent in this matter. However, Riot and the VCS organizing committee still allowed the playoffs to proceed normally, with the return of several legends and superstars bringing some excitement back to the audience.

In the context of many former stars who have retired or taken on other roles in the professional League of Legends environment returning, a name that had even previously suggested a comeback to VCS has been mentioned quite a bit. That is player E. – one of the names who has won the highest-level League of Legends tournament in Vietnam under two different team colors. However, right after expressing a desire to return to professional LoL, he took actions that left fans disheartened.

Specifically, recently, a fan accused former player E. of scamming… 100k. According to the fan, this former player proactively contacted him to borrow money for a gaming session. However, due to having lost trust multiple times with the VCS community, the fan was cautious even though the amount borrowed was not very large. The fan requested E. to send him the route to the gaming shop to book a ride and when he received the information, he transferred 100k to E. for transportation. However, after receiving the money, the fan could no longer reach the former player E.

Under the post exposing the former VCS champion, many fans also expressed their dismay. While it was the fan’s decision to transfer the money, it is clear that E. seems still unwilling to reform and appears to be taking advantage of the trust of his supporters.

Currently, the former player E. has not spoken out about the incident and everything remains at the stage of the fan’s accusation. However, this could just be another addition to the tale of a talented player with far too many flaws in the professional League of Legends scene in Vietnam.
