After over a year in the entertainment industry, the owner of popular hits among the youth such as “Trời Giấu Trời Mang Đi”, “Anh Nhà Ở Đâu Thế?”, “Đen Đá Không Đường”, and “Sao Anh Chưa Về Nhà…” – the rising star AMEE is once again bringing her audience a new project with bold and surprising transformations.
Moving away from the cute and naive style seen in most of her previous works, AMEE has recently released an intro video introducing a new music project, starting with “Yêu Thì Yêu Không Yêu Thì Yêu”, which is said to be a part of the upcoming album dreAMEE.
In this intro, AMEE transforms into a character from a virtual reality simulation game with 8-bit graphics, portraying familiar images to the gaming community, reminiscent of the era dominated by “4-button electronics”, with classic games like Super Mario…
The content of the intro also helps the audience imagine the “game universe” where AMEE is the main character, embarking on a journey to find love in the first “screen” of dreAMEE titled “Yêu Thì Yêu Không Yêu Thì Yêu”.

Not only confined to the 8-bit game world, AMEE’s album dreAMEE promises to recreate countless vibrant childhood memories of Vietnamese youth in general and the gaming community in particular. Besides the images revealed in the intro, she has also been frequently teasing about the new project on her personal social media, most recently hinting at “Sailor Moon” on Instagram.

It’s very likely that the album dreAMEE will be a dreamy love story skillfully portrayed through the lens of the “childhood universe”, intertwined with characters from video games, comics, or famous movies from the “good old days” that our childhood once adored.
Scheduled to be officially released on June 18, the music video for “Yêu Thì Yêu Không Yêu Thì Yêu” is set to be a product with a “gamer” vibe, so let’s wait and see what exciting surprises she will bring in this song!
