People often say, “If you care for someone, you may also hurt them,” and this proverb seems to perfectly describe the relationship between Faker and Ambition. Recently, the former Gen.G Esports player continued to tease his junior whom he claims to “deeply admire and cherish” by bringing up Faker’s ranked performance to warn fans – don’t think being on the same team as Faker is easy!
“Back in Season 3, Season 4, or Season 5, having Faker on your team while playing ranked was pure bliss; it felt like ‘this game is easy because someone will carry us anyway.’ But now, if I run into this kid, my teammates better be ready because if he doesn’t throw the game, that’s a win in itself.”

And Faker didn’t hold back either, as T1’s captain immediately had a comeback for his “mean-spirited” older brother. In an online interview with Korizon, when asked “What moment in your career has impressed you the most?”, the Demon King responded:
– That would definitely be my first professional match when I took down Ambition. My first solo kill as a professional player is still talked about to this day, and obviously, that was a memorable moment. Additionally, winning my first Worlds Championship in North America was another extremely proud moment for me.

In the clip commemorating Faker’s 2000 kills milestone at LCK, Ambition’s name was once again mentioned, and the reason remains the same – it was Faker’s iconic solo kill against his older brother. Thankfully, Ambition’s career still found success afterward, or else he would be endlessly memed just like Ryu.
Clearly, when talking about memorable moments, one can just mention the first win, but Faker insists that his first solo kill in his career was against Ambition. It seems that the brotherly rivalry between Ambition and Faker remains unresolved on the professional stage, leading to a sudden passion for “roasting” each other at all times.
