The global League of Legends (LoL) community is home to many talented gamers. They not only excel at playing the game but also possess incredibly creative ideas.
Recently, a young man designed a unique gameplay mode that combines the two maps, Summoner’s Rift and the Twisted Treeline. Additionally, this gamer proposed creative ideas for several unique and appealing Elemental Dragon units for Riot Games. Specifically, they are as follows:
Shimmerscale Drake
– Dragon Unit Benefits
Each Dragon unit defeated will grant players the Turtle’s Blessing effect: Gain an additional 5 gold every 10 seconds.
– Map Transformation Effect
When Shimmerscale Drake appears, the map becomes more golden and shiny. The shop will feature many new items, providing stronger but more expensive equipment. To help players purchase these costly items, Riot Games could upgrade monster units. For example, the Scuttle Crab will transform into a Shimmerscale Crab, which has more health and provides more gold.
Jungle monsters with buffs in the jungle will become Golden Giants. When players defeat them, they will receive the usual buffs and an effect of “increased 20% gold received from all sources.” Not only that, players will only receive extra gold until the buff disappears. If the players lose the buff to the enemy, all additional financial stats will transfer to their opponents.
– Shimmerscale Dragon Soul
The Shimmerscale Dragon Soul provides the whole team with extra gold received from all sources and heals them for an amount equal to that extra gold received. For example, if a player gains an additional 300 gold, they will heal 300 health. This factor is incredibly useful if gamers defeat powerful monsters or secure a Shutdown kill.
Glacial Drake
Each Glacial Dragon unit defeated will provide players with the Eternal Winter effect, increasing the duration of crowd control effects for the entire team.
When Glacial Drake appears, the map becomes cold and frosty. Cold winds sweep through the jungle, creating zones that slow down players who move into them. The river becomes frozen, and players receive resistance stats when moving on its surface. The crowd control enhancement ability from the Glacial Drake will bypass the resistance stats of players moving in the river.
– Glacial Dragon Soul
When players obtain the Glacial Dragon Soul, they receive an aura around team members, dealing a certain amount of damage and slowing down targets using dash skills within the aura.
Chrono Drake
Each Chrono Drake unit will provide the Time Wisdom effect: granting 6 health, 6 energy, and 1.8 adaptive power per minute, up to a maximum of 10 stacks. After reaching 10 stacks, players receive a small amount of experience.
The Summoner’s Rift map reverts to the state of 2015; no more Health Potions, Warding Totems, or Explosive Charges.
– Chrono Dragon Soul
The Chrono Dragon Soul allows players to reach level 19, gaining an additional skill point for basic abilities.
These are some fantastic ideas from the LoL community. If they were to be implemented, Riot Games would have to carefully calculate to balance the power with the aim of connecting with other Dragon units.
