Not long ago, GTV announced the launch of its premier gaming platform GPlay, featuring a host of outstanding features. According to the plan, GPlay was set to reach gamers on August 17. However, some unfortunate bugs and vulnerabilities found have delayed the GPlay launch. In a stroke of luck amidst the misfortune, GTV’s technical team not only resolved the issues but also upgraded several additional features as follows:

Realizing that opponents disconnecting or leaving the game during ranked matches without penalty is unreasonable, Gplay is implementing solutions to address this situation in the Ranking mode.

The Ranking mode for AoE will soon introduce an Elo-based scoring system. Accordingly, wins and losses will no longer adjust the same number of points. This is also the most significant adjustment, as it will further improve the classification of players’ skills.

Additional research is being conducted to introduce more Maps for AoE when playing on Gplay.

Penalties will be applied to players who leave matches once they have found an opponent on AoE Ranking. Additionally, disconnections due to network issues will be considered to minimize wrongful penalties.

These adjustments show that GTV is making tremendous efforts to create a healthy and exciting competitive environment for AoE Ranking on GPlay. Furthermore, GTV, along with GPlay, will organize a series of AoE tournaments under the most professional system ever, including tournaments aimed at nurturing young talents—the next generation of the AoE community.

This has been a consistent effort by GTV throughout the past months with monthly tournaments on GTV Plus, as well as the professional tournament systems like Cơm Canh Cà, Cơm Hải Sản, Cơm Canteen, and Cơm Có Thịt, which have received positive feedback from the community. Upcoming tournaments will make their debut on the Vietnamese social media platform GAPO.
GPlay will open its doors to gamers on August 24.
