Following a tumultuous Spring Split in early 2024, VCS teams are undoubtedly facing significant changes as they prepare for the Summer Split amidst serious roster losses. Regardless of the decisions made by the VCS organizers and Riot, teams need to have their own plans in place. Thus, the mid-season period is currently drawing attention from the Vietnamese League of Legends community, especially since the VCS organizers and Riot have yet to release any further announcements, while the Summer Split is set to resume around mid-June.

On the evening of May 27th, a fan page dedicated to updating transfer information for teams in VCS made a notable post regarding GAM Esports. The content consisted solely of the word GAM and an emoji of three eagle birds. The post even garnered interaction from GAM’s CEO, Mr. TK Nguyen. However, less than an hour later, the post disappeared. Prior to its deletion, the post had been shared widely, and many opinions speculated about which character or event this page was cryptically hinting at concerning the reigning VCS champions.

Notably, among the figures mentioned by the community, there was also Teacher Ba, and the image of the three birds could be interpreted as there being no suitable icon for the top League of Legends streamer in Vietnam on Facebook. This comment received a lot of interaction, but no parties have confirmed anything yet.

Nonetheless, this action could be interpreted as indicating that GAM may be undergoing some changes soon, whether in terms of personnel or a significant event. Therefore, the VCS community has even more reason to anticipate, especially since GAM is one of the teams heavily affected by the recent tumultuous Spring Split.
