Just declared dissolved, a VCS team faced a strong “VAR”
Recently, in a latest announcement, the team Silent Storm Esports officially dissolved after just one season participating in VCS. For those who don’t know, the SSE team was formed with some familiar names to VCS viewers like Neo, Phuc1, and Jarvis. However, most of them are quite new faces. Nevertheless, after just one unsatisfactory Spring 2025 season, this team has concluded its journey.

Additionally, when this team was formed, player Toàn Trần “Neo” announced that he would take on the role of ADC in the team as well as handling operations and communication. According to some information from fans, this team has yet to secure an official sponsor.
However, trouble soon arose. Specifically, the team, which is one of the shortest-lived in VCS history, despite announcing its dissolution, was unexpectedly “VAR”-ed with allegations of being indefinitely banned from competing by VCS organizers and Riot.

The owner responds sharply, and the VCS community is also skeptical
Accordingly, right below the post, the representative of the SSE team also responded sharply, demanding the other party provide evidence that this team was indefinitely banned from competing by the VCS organizers and Riot. In fact, if this information were true, the VCS organizers would have had to inform the audience beforehand. Meanwhile, those spreading the news have not provided any additional evidence to support their claims.

For their part, the VCS community also expressed skepticism. This is because the source of information comes from a channel that has gradually lost the audience’s trust after several previous incidents. Especially when the “32 players” incident erupted in mid-2024, this channel also provided misleading information and was rebutted by those involved.
Furthermore, spreading unverified information not only affects the players and teams but also causes the audience to lose trust in the tournament. Therefore, the community needs to be cautious before rumors to protect the VCS environment and Esports in general, and also to avoid affecting those involved.
