In League of Legends (LoL), there are always many big and small bugs. Notably, these bugs often appear the most whenever Riot releases new updates or new champions. Many times, these bugs have affected Riot’s tournaments and caused players and teams a lot of frustration. At events like MSI or the World Championship, Riot has also banned champions or items that feature bugs due to their impact on the game.

Recently, some players have discovered a serious bug related to Sion and Kalista. Notably, both champions are currently used quite frequently. If Kalista appears in the ADC position in some matches during the Summer 2023 tournaments, Sion has long been a familiar name in various roles, especially Top Lane and Jungle. The new bug was discovered when a player used Sion in the Support role, teaming up with Kalista and had this champion place the Oath.

Specifically, the situation occurs when Sion initiates a fight but gets attacked. Naturally, a Support Sion cannot withstand the damage from opponents and turrets. Therefore, Sion gets taken down and activates his passive, Glory in Death. Normally, when the passive ends, Sion would officially be defeated. However, in this case, the Kalista player managed to use the ultimate – Fate’s Call just as Sion’s passive was about to expire. Instantly, Sion is fully resurrected without downtime. In fact, Sion revives right where Kalista used her ultimate, without any need to move.

This is a serious bug if players can exploit it, as it would make Sion nearly unbeatable. Notably, this Kalista – Sion combo is not too difficult to use, as players can always time the end of Sion’s passive to activate Kalista’s ultimate in time.

Of course, with the community’s feedback, Riot will not allow this bug to appear in professional matches. However, four years ago, Vandiril discovered this bug, but changes in gameplay and updates caused it to be forgotten. Now, this bug has resurfaced, and Riot must take action to prevent players from exploiting it and affecting the community’s gaming experience.
