Famous VCS Figures Bid Farewell to EGO at His Final Journey
As known, on September 5th, the Vietnamese League of Legends community faced a significant loss when former Team Flash, CERBERUS Esports, and Saigon Buffalo player Nguyễn “EGO” Khánh Hòa passed away unexpectedly at a very young age. It can be said that since the era of Levi and SofM, EGO was the next jungle player rated very highly and was the only counterpart to Levi in the VCS. EGO’s departure left many regrets for the Vietnamese League of Legends fan community. On the morning of September 6th, the names of VCS also bid farewell to EGO one last time.
According to information released by SGB’s representative, many prominent figures in the Vietnamese League of Legends community sent their farewell messages to EGO. However, perhaps due to the stormy weather, many were unable to attend in person at the former TF star’s hometown to bid him farewell to his final resting place. It can be seen among the condolence letters were representatives from CES, the senior duo of Yado – RonOP who were also very close to EGO during his lifetime, and the couple of commentator Văn Tùng – MC Mai Dora.

Additionally, SGB’s representative provided more detailed information regarding EGO’s passing. As reported, on the afternoon of September 5th, when the first news about EGO’s situation surfaced, there were some rumors that the former TF star acted recklessly. However, according to SGB’s representative, EGO passed away after a heart attack and sudden death. Reports indicate that EGO began showing symptoms of a heart attack and was taken to the hospital by his family. However, by the morning of September 5th, EGO had taken his last breath.
EGO may have left behind much discussion and debate in the final days of his career as well as his life, but after all, “the dead deserve respect.” And perhaps the controversies surrounding EGO have also come to a close.
