Faker Continues to Make History
Living up to the expectations of T1 fans (and perhaps the entire League of Legends community), Faker and his teammates successfully secured the last ticket to the 2024 World Championship. The journey for the reigning World Champions this Summer 2024 was incredibly challenging, with moments that even T1 fans worried about their team’s goals. However, in the end, T1 accomplished their mission, allowing Faker to set yet another historic milestone.

Notably, with this victory, Faker becomes the player with the most World Championship appearances in League of Legends history, now with 9 times. Among these, Faker has reached the finals 8 times. Additionally, he has won the championship 4 times – making him the player with the most titles in League of Legends history. Thus, Faker currently holds 3 records simultaneously with T1’s qualification for the 2024 World Championship: the player with the most World Championship appearances, the player with the most championships, and the player with the most finals appearances.
Therefore, except for 2019, each time T1 has reached the World Championship, they have at least made it to the finals.

Faker and T1 Begin to Use the ‘Spiritual System’
Right after T1’s victory against KT Rolster, T1’s official X page immediately posted a noteworthy image of the reigning World Champion’s attire. Accordingly, T1 members donned white outfits, featuring the T1 logo, stars symbolizing their World Championship titles, and the logos of their sponsors.

For those who may not know, according to the “tradition” of the World Championship, right after a champion with a multi-colored outfit, the following year will feature a champion in a white outfit. Before T1, all 4 LPL teams heading to the 2024 World Championship have been announced to wear white outfits.

It remains to be seen whether these factors can “assist” T1 in successfully defending their championship title, but at this moment, the players have completed their mission in a challenging season. Fans can also take a breather to await the upcoming World Championship.
