LCK Reveals Season Awards, T1’s Position Comes as No Surprise
Recently, LCK announced the results of the individual and team awards for the 2025 season after the group stage concluded. Of course, this is only based on the group stage performance, and teams still have the playoffs to improve. However, it was no surprise that all 5 members of Gen.G dominated the First All-Star Team for LCK 2025. Meanwhile, T1 spread their players across the other two line-ups. But this only highlights the mistakes made by T1’s upper management.

Accordingly, Viper occupies the AD Carry position in the Second All-Star Team, alongside Bdd and 3 T1 members. In fact, Viper is one of the standout players for HLE, and this is indisputable. Viper has maintained stable performance from Rounds 1-2 up until before the fateful Game 3 against Gen.G. However, if T1’s upper management hadn’t made the “self-destructive” moves with the ZOFGK line-up, perhaps Gumayusi would have had a fairer chance to compete with Viper and even Ruler.

Moreover, these self-destructive performances have also contributed to T1’s difficulty in competing for second place. Additionally, we cannot overlook the somewhat arrogant performances of T1’s line-up in the later stages of Rounds 3-5, leading to their disastrous defeat against KT.
T1 Needs to Focus Fully on the Upcoming Stage
It can be said that the group stage voting results were not surprising to most of the League of Legends community, but there will still be debates. As for T1, they need to focus entirely on the playoffs and then the World Championship. There is no opportunity to redo, and this season is expected to be just as challenging as 2024, especially with the Fearless Draft mode clearly not favorable for T1.

But that doesn’t mean T1 has no chance. In the BO5 rounds, Faker and his teammates can certainly create surprises like they did in the past to seize the ultimate victory.
