LPL superstar admits that the current practice schedule for players is very “grueling,” allowing audiences to understand Faker even more
In a recent share, Elk – the AD carry of Bilibili Gaming provided insights into the life of professional players today. Notably, although in a resting phase, some players in the LPL, including Elk, still maintain a practice routine that is no different from when they are competing. Additionally, Elk revealed details about this “grueling” practice schedule.
“I have maintained such a regular practice schedule for the past 3 years. During my training, I do not allow myself to rest, at least until around 5 to 6 AM the next morning,” Elk stated.

In the past, many players have also admitted to such a “try hard” schedule. A typical example is Doinb, who, during his competitive days, would often jump into ranked matches until dawn, even right after finishing a game.
For older players in a harsh environment like Faker, training is certainly not any easier. Although Faker has an “unshakeable” position, with his professional spirit, he does not allow himself to slack off. His hand injury is a testament to this harshness.

Faker’s injury is one of many issues in the professional League of Legends scene
Injuries among League of Legends players or Esports in general are not new. But Faker’s case is different. While others have chosen to retire after discovering their injuries, Faker continues to compete tirelessly.

Currently, Faker’s injury can be said to have reached a very severe stage, as the media has clearly reported in recent times. And if Faker’s training schedule is as grueling as Elk’s, even if he retires, it is understood that it will take a long time for the “Demon King”‘s hand to return to normal.
