In just a few days, the first international event of the year for FC Online – FC Pro Masters 2026 – will officially kick off. Taking place from May 28 to May 31 at the Kintetsu Esports Industrial Park (Shanghai, China), the tournament features 8 teams, including champions and runners-up from four major regions: Vietnam, Thailand, South Korea, and China.
Notably, this is the first time two Vietnamese representatives, FPT Polytechnic (Champion) and Star Galaxy (Runner-up), will compete on the international Masters stage, marking a new milestone for Vietnam’s FC Online scene. They will face strong regional contenders such as Triple W, Advice Esports (Thailand), GenCity, T1 (South Korea), along with two host teams Sichuan MJ Esports and Zhengzhou Alpha Electronic Gaming.

Intense Competition Format
In this tournament, the 8 teams are divided into two groups, competing in a single round-robin format with points awarded per game to determine the top teams advancing to the Playoffs. The knockout stage will follow a Best-of-5 (Bo5) format, requiring teams to win 3 games to advance.
The teams’ goal is not only to win the championship. According to the organizers’ rules, the top 4 teams at FC Pro Masters 2026 will earn spots at the FC Pro Champions Cup – the highest-level event in the FC Pro system, scheduled to take place in South Korea later this year.
