Chovy Unfazed by Achieving a Rare Pentakill Milestone
In a pro player’s career, they may earn many team titles and championships across various tournaments. However, when it comes to individual achievements, there are milestones few can reach, such as the number of pentakills in a career. For example, Faker – the G.O.A.T of the LoL scene – has only 2 pentakills so far. But Chovy has a completely different perspective.
Recently, Chovy secured a pentakill in a match against BNK. Normally, such an achievement would excite most players. But Chovy had a different take: “Honestly, I think pentakills are just about accumulating kills. And to be frank, I don’t feel satisfied from that.”

For Chovy, ultimate titles remain the top priority
From the start of the 2026 season until now, Gen.G has participated in three official tournaments. While the 2026 LCK Regular Season is still ongoing, they have only secured one title at the 2026 LCK Cup. Afterwards, Gen.G suffered a crushing defeat to G2 at First Stand, a loss that was hard to swallow for both the team and Chovy.

Meanwhile, Gen.G’s goal remains to maintain dominance in the LCK and defend their MSI championship. With their current standing, these two objectives are still very much alive, and Chovy surely aims to conquer every remaining title. This goal is far more important to him than pentakills or any personal milestones in his career.
