Faker’s Worst Champion in His Career
Throughout his long career, Faker has played over 70% of the champions currently available in League of Legends. Of course, there are some champions he has never had the chance to bring to the professional stage. But if a champion has appeared at least 5 times in the Midlane position, Faker has certainly played or used it. However, in the current meta, Aurora has become the “black spot” of Faker’s career, as this champion is the one that the LMHT G.O.A.T has performed the worst with since his debut.

As of the recent match against HLE – T1 (excluding the EWC 2026 qualifiers), Faker has used Aurora twice this season and lost both games. More broadly, in the last 10 matches Faker has played with the “rabbit champion,” he only secured 3 wins (a 30% win rate) — the lowest among all champions he’s played in 10 or more games. Previously, this spot belonged to Karma, with Faker having a 40% win rate.

Aurora Becomes a “Black Spot” for Faker and T1
Aurora is a very strong champion in the current meta, but Faker’s lack of mastery — or rather poor performance with this champion — has become a weakness in T1’s pick/ban phase. With the Fearless Draft mode in play, this has become an exploitable factor for teams facing T1. Not only HLE, but even teams with skilled Midlaners like BRO and NS can target Faker’s position to the fullest.

Of course, Faker and T1 may still reach the Playoffs and even qualify for MSI 2026. But if they do not quickly fix this weakness with Aurora, the possibility of T1 facing disappointment is clearly looming.
