Faker Shares About Keria’s New Contract with T1
On the second day of the T1 Homeground event featuring the reigning champion of the 2025 World Championship, Support player Keria officially confirmed his future with the team, extending his contract for another 3 years until the end of 2029. This is indeed great news for T1 fans and ensures that the team won’t have to worry about personnel issues. Recently, Faker also shared his thoughts on the decision made by his junior and close teammate.

According to the captain and Mid Laner of T1, he stated: “Ryu Min-seok (Keria) has shown outstanding performances since joining our team. He is a very important player for T1. It’s special to be able to compete together for another 3 years. I hope we can achieve great results and deliver good performances for the fans. It’s wonderful to see Keria grow not only in skill but also outside of competition.”

For those who may not know, a key factor related to Faker regarding Keria’s contract extension is that he, along with Keria and Oner, will form the longest playing trio in the history of League of Legends and Esports in general.
Faker is the past and present, but Keria could be T1’s future
With recent developments, Keria has committed to T1 at least until Faker’s contract expires. In the past and present, Faker represents T1, LCK, and League of Legends. However, in the future, it’s very likely that Keria will take the lead once the legendary senior decides to “hang up his sword.”
