The top teams in LCK can feel “comfortable”
After three intensely competitive weeks, nearly all the teams currently in the top half of the LCK 2026 Rounds 1-2 standings have faced each other. The only exception is the matchup between KT and HLE, the two leading teams, which won’t take place until week five. Therefore, the fourth week of matches could mark a “light week” for the powerhouses, as they are mostly facing opponents who are significantly weaker or struggling.

However, both HLE and Gen.G will still need to exercise caution, as their opponents in the fourth week are NS, a team that is quite unpredictable in the current LCK. NS currently holds a record of 4 wins and 2 losses, closely trailing behind HLE in the standings. In reality, the opponents NS faced in the previous weeks only had KT performing consistently. NS can unexpectedly lose to KRX, but they can also make BRO or BNK regret their matches.
Meanwhile, the fourth week could be an opportunity for T1 to improve their ranking. Their opponents are just a struggling BRO and a BNK that has lost its way. Thus, two victories are completely within T1’s grasp, potentially helping them rise in the standings. The question remains whether Faker and his teammates can capitalize on this opportunity, which will only be answered once the matches conclude.
