The reason was later uncovered by the community, which revealed that a portion of Gen.G fans wanted to use this information to scrutinize Faker’s tax contributions to divert attention from Ruler’s situation. However, after the truth was revealed and these posts were deleted, recently, Faker’s home address was also leaked, prompting T1 to take action.
Accordingly, this time, it was not the Korean internet users but the League of Legends community on Reddit who shared a post revealing Faker’s residence, which was disclosed by a group of fans (believed to be from Gen.G) showing the address of Faker’s family home. These posts appeared in forums dedicated specifically to Gen.G fans.
This incident has sparked numerous lively discussions on the SKTT1 section of Reddit, where netizens condemned this violation. Some opinions pointed out that this behavior could be linked to Ruler’s tax issues. It seems that a section of Gen.G fans believes that directing attention toward Faker would help
