Strict Penalties for Cheating in the Spring 2026 Four Regions Grand Battle Qualifiers
The organizing committee of the Spring 2026 Four Regions Grand Battle has officially announced severe penalties for several teams and athletes (players) due to violations of third-party software usage regulations. Through a process of system data verification, the committee confirmed that the teams Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa, Kien Thuy – Hai Phong, and Kien An – Hai Phong engaged in dishonest actions, seriously violating the tournament’s regulations and affecting match results.
Specifically, in the Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa team, players Tran Quang Phu, Nguyen Phuc Duy, Nguyen Anh Quoc, and Ngo Thanh Quyen were found to have committed violations; the team also terminated its cooperation with Leader Nguyen Hong Suu. The two representatives from Hai Phong, Kien Thuy and Kien An, also recorded a long list of violating players including Bui Tuan Minh, Pham Hoang Nam, Bui Thanh Trung (Kien Thuy) and Vu Ha Thanh Luong, Do Hoang Minh, Pham Minh Hieu, Luu Quang Huy (Kien An).

The penalties imposed are extremely strict to deter similar actions in the future. All the aforementioned teams had all their competition results canceled and were stripped of the right to continue participating in the Spring 2026 Four Regions Grand Battle.
On the individual side, all players listed in the violations will be banned from participating in any tournaments organized by Arena of Valor for 12 months, starting from March 28, 2026, including community tournament systems. This is seen as one of the large-scale “cleansing” efforts in the semi-professional arena, demonstrating Garena’s uncompromising stance against cheating that taints the esports environment.

A Lesson on Professionalism and Sportsmanship Even in Smaller Tournaments
The use of interfering software not only robs the opportunities of the players themselves but also negatively impacts the reputation and professionalism of the Arena of Valor tournament system in Vietnam.
This incident serves as a valuable lesson for all teams and individuals operating in the esports competition environment, reminding that sustainable success comes only from real talent and professional ethics. To build a strong community, each athlete needs to enhance their self-awareness and strictly adhere to fair play rules to protect the core values of the esports spirit.
