GAM Sets a “Shameful” Milestone in Vietnam’s League of Legends History at LCP 2026
Currently, the matches of LCP Split 1 have progressed to the decisive Playoffs stage, and before the GAM – SHG match took place, VCS was left with only 2 representatives after MVK had to return home early. However, against an opponent that is merely a team from the LJL – a region often considered one of the weakest in LCP, GAM unexpectedly “fell flat”. Notably, GAM didn’t manage to secure any game wins.

Moreover, throughout all 3 games, one could not see a VCS team performing against an opponent that had previously been known for their consistent losses, until MVK lost to SHG just last week. However, MVK was still able to secure at least 1 game win against SHG. To lose against a representative from the LJL without winning a single game like GAM did is truly “beyond imagination”.
At the same time, SHG’s top laner Evi achieved his first-ever victory against GAM with a score of 3-0 throughout his long career. Evi is one of the legendary icons with a significant influence in Japanese League of Legends. However, until now, even after transitioning to the LCS, he had not found a victory against GAM until LCP 2026.

GAM is Facing Too Many Issues
Clearly, losing Levi is just one of the many issues GAM is facing. They are playing without any cohesion, and especially when they need their superstars to step up, GAM’s stars are not performing at their peak anymore. It can be said that the GAM team in the match against SHG seemed more like individuals pieced together to operate the game rather than a championship-contending team.

SHG’s victory is well-deserved, while GAM has a lot of work to do in the upcoming time before the next stage of the season begins.
