Worlds Runner-Up Bdd Acknowledges an Obsession Worse Than Losing
The 2025 season has seen many upheavals in the global League of Legends scene, and of course, it comes with its fair share of surprises. One of these is the journey of KT Rolster and player Bdd. KT had a tumultuous domestic season, but when they stepped onto the world stage, they even defeated the much stronger Gen.G multiple times to reach the Worlds finals. Although they couldn’t claim the championship, Bdd can be said to have had a fairly fulfilling year in 2025.

In a recent interview, Bdd shared about himself and surprised the community by expressing an “obsession” beyond just losing a match. Specifically, it’s the issue of losing lane. Bdd stated: “I really hate losing lane. I mean, anyone can lose lane, but even when I was an amateur player, if I lost lane, I would feel really negative. If we lose a team fight or even lose the whole match, that’s fine, but losing lane makes me feel incredibly bad. I hate that so much.”
It’s clear that for Bdd, losing lane has more severe consequences and losing a match is just one of those consequences. In reality, with the mid-lane role becoming increasingly crucial, losing lane in Bdd’s position is understandable as it leaves heavy repercussions. At that point, the entire team’s system will encounter issues, and losing the match is merely a matter of time.

The Worlds Runner-Up is Expected to Shine Again in the New Season
After a spectacular season in 2025, KT is also undergoing some roster changes as they bid farewell to last season’s bot lane duo and welcome back Aiming along with the return of former Worlds champion 2020 – Ghost. Naturally, KT’s strength will be affected, and in this context, Bdd remains the most anticipated name, especially after he proved his incredible “carrying” ability in the last season.
