DRX “sends a gift” to the Vietnamese LoL community
As we know, in recent years, LCK teams have increasingly focused on and tapped into the Vietnamese LoL market. Not only did LazyFeel become the first Vietnamese foreign player to compete in an official LCK match, but top teams have also frequently visited the S-shaped country. Recently, DRX made another announcement: DRX will host the LCK Roadshow 2026 in Vietnam.
For those who may not know, the LCK Roadshow is an annual event of the LCK, aimed at bringing LCK matches to a wider audience. Like every year, the LCK Roadshow will be held in a stadium organized by the teams, which will be referred to as “Homeground.” In 2024, T1 had its Homeground, while in 2025, KT and Gen.G joined in. And DRX could be the first team to hold a Homeground outside of South Korea.
The Vietnamese LoL community is buzzing with DRX’s news
Of course, for the vast majority of fans, this is good news as another team will be coming to the VCS and even hosting an LCK match here. However, the next question will be: which team will accompany DRX to Vietnam?

It will be very difficult to invite top teams like Gen.G, HLE, or T1. The simple reason is the costs, and these teams, if they wish, will carry out their own activities in the Vietnamese market, such as HLE’s two consecutive fan meetings, Gen.G’s visit to Vietnam in 2024, or T1’s recent fan meeting.
But without top teams, it will be challenging to attract significant attention. Teams like DK or KT are also options, but their fan base isn’t as large as before. If it’s teams like NS or OKBRO, the fan numbers would be even lower, especially since OKBRO parted ways with Morgan during the late 2025 transfer window.

Nevertheless, an LCK match in Vietnam could open up many prospects for Vietnamese LoL in organizing international-level matches in the future.
