The 10.4 update has arrived on the Vietnamese servers for a few days now. With the new changes from the update, let’s take a look at the 7 compositions that are dominating in Teamfight Tactics after the initial days of the version update.
1. (6) Shadow
In fact, in this version, the (6) Shadow composition might still be the strongest as Senna received a small buff. More importantly, the biggest counter to Shadow, the Marksman composition with Gems and Poison, has had its power significantly reduced.
2. (6) Light
The Light composition, while still having a place in the previous version’s meta, is not strong enough to reach top 1. That’s why the couple Lucian and Senna have received a slight boost in this version.
Lucian becomes the main carry of this composition, and if you are lucky with the Light Blessing, you can definitely use a very strong composition with (6) Light and the presence of Senna alongside the Lunar pair.
3. (6) Berserkers
However, to be safe, Olaf should have Guardian Angel to avoid being eliminated too quickly when facing the Shadow composition. Olaf is still the main champion of the composition, so be sure to place him in a suitable position to keep him away from the sights of high-damage champions like Kindred, Lucian, Twitch,…
4. (6) Sorcerers
Although hardly mentioned in the update, the Sorcerer composition benefits quite a bit from the nerf to Gems and Poison. Even if you don’t have a Super Spatula to combine into a Sorcerer’s Hat, the composition is still incredibly strong when activating enough (6) Sorcerers with Brand carry.
5. Yasuo Carry
As a rising phenomenon since version 10.3, the composition with Yasuo Carry has not been touched at all. Yasuo has the ability to one-shot important targets using many items in the backline, making your composition easily collapse when the main damage is gone.
Additionally, activating (4) Mystics towards the end of the game makes this composition incredibly powerful, easily defeating Shadow or Sorcerer compositions with a significant magic resistance boost for the entire team.
6. Beasts
Beasts have suffered a heavy nerf in the 10.4 update when Gems and Poison were nerfed. However, the main source of power from Kog’maw with Luden’s Echo has not been altered. Therefore, Beasts remain a very strong composition if not contested by other players.
7. Marksman/Poison
Similar to Beasts, the Marksman composition also suffered quite a bit from the nerf to Gems and Poison. However, the Marksman composition remains very strong thanks to the high damage output from Ashe, Twitch, and high-cost champions like Singed, Taric, Amumu in the late game.
The meta at the start of version 10.4 still features familiar compositions with the highlight being the return of the Berserker composition and the duo of Lucian – Senna. And it is very likely that the meta will see positive changes and the rise of other compositions, particularly with the popularity of the new composition including Frozen and Poison.
