As we know, in the Vietnamese AoE community, VaneLove is well-known as one of the most charismatic players. Many times, this player has caused a stir in the community with shocking statements. Before tonight’s highlight match, the 32-year-old player from Tây Tựu shared some very candid thoughts.
When asked about the factors that would decide the outcome of the match, VaneLove stated: “In reality, objectively speaking, Cam Quýt and I are slightly the underdogs compared to Chim Sẻ and HeHe. But in the current meta, in 2v2 Random, the cards determine 80% of the match outcome. As long as we have decent cards, Cam Quýt and I are confident we can defeat the opposing duo.”
In an AoE match, understanding the strengths and weaknesses of the opponent is always a priority for VaneLove. The captain of the AoE Hanoi Clan noted: “Chim Sẻ Đi Nắng is the strongest point of the opponent. Objectively speaking, at this point in time, Chim Sẻ’s skills with the cavalry have improved significantly compared to before, and when he uses the bow, it’s a whole different story; that has been his trademark for a long time. HeHe’s current form will be the most important weakness that will help my brother and I to feel confident in winning. Recently, HeHe has been losing consistently, so this could be a burden for Chim Sẻ Đi Nắng.”
Revealing more about the strategy to be applied in tonight’s confrontation, VaneLove did not hesitate to share his perspective: “To attack effectively, you must strike decisively; Chim Sẻ is very dangerous, which is why Cam Quýt and I will focus on creating a 2v1 situation right from the beginning to prevent Chim Sẻ from resisting. As for HeHe, at this point, he might just be participating to fill out the team. After dealing with Chim Sẻ, we can turn back to finish off HeHe for a nice ending to the match. As I’ve shared before, to implement this strategy, the quality of the cards is crucial. I hope for a day of good fortune and favorable cards for us two brothers.”
