As one of the most active players in experiencing Teamfight Tactics: Infinite Galaxy, Best Udyr continuously discovers new team compositions and suitable gameplay for newcomers to the new season. In his latest video, “Sir” Udyr played a team composition that can be called a basic one for this season, which is 6 Super Technology, and achieved a well-deserved top 1. However, securing victory was not easy at all.
At the beginning phase, the shop usually offers us many individual units from various team compositions. At that time, Udyr often doesn’t hesitate to spend money to buy all the individual units to create multiple avenues for developing his team. With the characteristic of needing 3 champions to activate the first threshold of the trait, Super Technology is often quite weak in the early levels, especially when luck isn’t on your side. Losing a few rounds is normal; never roll early to waste your money.

The time you switch to playing the Super Technology build is when you can activate the first combo threshold with 3 champions, typically 3 units of Leona-Fiora-Lucian since they are all low-cost. Before that, you should utilize what you receive from the shop to activate as many individual traits as possible. As seen in the video, Udyr had to use Poppy for a relatively long period to gain the Vanguard effect with Leona to maintain health.

Once you have the 3 Super Technology combo, equipping items becomes an art in utilizing this build. You can apply Best Udyr’s method of using defensive items (Chain Vest, Giant’s Belt) for the frontline champions, and Bramble Vest for the backline champions. By increasing both damage and health, Bramble Vest is the best standalone item for Super Technology, increasing damage output while also being able to combine into Infinity Edge, a highly beneficial item for this trait.

Managing economy is also a crucial point to note; Super Technology only has 6 units. To activate the 6-champion combo, you must have Ekko – a 5 gold champion. Therefore, you need to save enough money to level up to 8 as fast as possible, with the goal of having enough champions to strengthen the team, while also having a sufficient chance to roll for Ekko.

The most common team composition seen alongside 6 Super Technology is to add Wukong and Ezreal, gaining additional Vanguard and Cannoneer traits. If you have enough luck and acquire suitable items, you can learn from Udyr in the video by also including Thresh along with the Infinity Edge to activate both the Duelist and Assassin traits. At that point, Irelia becomes the incredibly strong carry of your team, and energy items are extremely important for her to repeatedly use Blade Surge.

Essentially, Super Technology is a team composition that excels in the late game, so you need to have a sufficient amount of gold and level to play; you cannot hyper-roll. When you have enough 6 Super Technology and supporting combos, this team composition is incredibly powerful with superior damage and health while the cost is only a few small items.
