Yesterday, fans of League of Legends in Vietnam witnessed the SN Gaming team, led by the prodigious jungler from Vietnam Sofm, facing a disappointing defeat with a score of 1-2 against the ‘dark horse’ of the 2020 LPL Spring, ES. However, today, Peanut – the renowned jungler from South Korea couldn’t even secure a single game win against this high-performing opponent.
Game 1 – With a 4K gold lead and many advantages, Peanut and his teammates still “threw the game”
This was the match that many League of Legends fans were waiting for as ES had a perfect record of three wins while LGD Gaming was returning with an excellent performance from the jungler prodigy from South Korea – Peanut. After the draft, Peanut provided a significant advantage for LGD by using Olaf to actively support lanes and secure many kills. Maintaining their advantage, LGD led their opponents by 4k gold before the 25th minute, then a decisive fight at the Baron pit put ES in a difficult position.

Thought the Baron advantage and the wind dragon soul would help Peanut and his teammates secure victory in the first game, a twist in the match occurred. With Baron in hand and deciding to push with the Baron buff into the Mid towers, Peanut and his teammates made a crucial mistake in a team fight, balancing the gold totals and allowing the carries on the ES team to acquire important items, thus regaining control of the game. In the final team fight, LGD was wiped out by ES, handing the first game win to their opponents.
Game 2 – LGD’s Weak Performance Leads to a Swift Defeat
Still shaken from the first game’s turnaround, the LGD team members began game 2 in a tense state of mind. In contrast, ES was very excited and confident after a solid first game. This led to a disjointed and unfocused performance from LGD. Peanut played passively while the young jungler from ES controlled the game with Lee Sin, helping ES secure major objectives, rolling the snowball perfectly, and finishing LGD before the 30-minute mark.

With this victory, ES secured their fourth consecutive win and firmly held the top position on the leaderboard, while LGD and Peanut will need to work hard if they want to achieve a higher ranking in the spring season.
Through this victory, ES continues to assert their position in the LPL, and the race for this year’s championship promises to be very exciting. As for the renowned jungler from South Korea, Peanut, he will face a lot of pressure in the upcoming matches.
