The “appeal” of this story likely stems from the extremely “hard to bear” reason for which the author was dumped by his girlfriend: playing games poorly and not having skins.
The author expressed a deep sense of sorrow as he shared about his efforts to work hard, support his girlfriend’s education, and pamper her. He even suffered a broken arm while going out to buy food for her. However, in the end, he faced a harsh conclusion when his girlfriend sent him messages that could be described as extremely “cruel”:

In addition, some opinions suggest that this gamer might be fabricating the story for likes, as “there’s no way a girl could be this shameless.” However, whether this story is true or not, the aforementioned gamer is still receiving a lot of empathy from the League of Legends community after a breakup that feels like it belongs in a fantasy story.
