Young talent Misutaaa joined Vitality earlier this month, after the team’s IGL ALEX unexpectedly announced his departure and retirement from professional play. At just 17 years old, Misutaaa is already regarded as one of the most promising talents in the French CS scene, and joining Vitality presents a golden opportunity for him to mature and shine on the international stage.

However, being so young, just joining the team, and having to play a difficult role (holding the bombsite on CT-side and lurking on T-side, according to recent comments from coach XTQZZZ) may have caused this young talent to show signs of being “nervous” and struggling to integrate with the team. His ratings in recent matches have not been high, and he has yet to demonstrate much in his new colors.
Last night, Vitality faced off against Team Spirit in Group A of ESL Pro League Season 11. It was expected to be an easy match for Vitality against a team ranked 27th, but ZywOo and his teammates were surprisingly defeated 1-2. Notably, they lost 5-16 in a dismal fashion on their pick map Dust2, and then 13-16 on Overpass.

For Misutaaa personally, this defeat is even more forgettable as he ended map 2 without any kills over 21 rounds, finishing with a K/D of… 0-18. His overall rating for the match was just 0.12, and his ADR was only 25.
Of course, this was just an online match, and every pro player has off days. Misutaaa himself performed very well in map 1 with a K/D of 24-12, and in map 3 he also played relatively well, even though Vitality lost 13-16 in that match.
Misutaaa is still very young, and it is hoped that he will use this defeat as motivation to train hard with his teammates to bring Vitality back to the top of the world rankings.
Vitality currently holds a record of 2-1 in Group A of ESL Pro League Season 11, and their next opponent will be NiP, a team that is performing exceptionally well in the tournament with three consecutive 2-0 victories, including a surprising win against Astralis.
