In Teamfight Tactics, many players love compositions with high damage output that can wipe out enemy teams as quickly as possible. On the other hand, there are also many who prefer resilient champions, wanting to use units that cannot be defeated in any situation.
Here is a list of compositions with seemingly immortal strength in the current meta:
Composition with Immortal Xin Zhao

This is one of the hottest compositions in the current meta at the Korean Challenger rank. In this composition, Xin Zhao will be the key unit in all roles such as primary tank, main damage dealer, and main crowd control. The power lies in the combination of the three items: Giant Slayer (providing Xin Zhao with both damage and durability), Thornmail (blocking all additional damage from critical hits), and Dragon Claw (reducing magic damage by 50%). Additionally, Xin Zhao will continuously create shields with his Guardian passive, ensuring he remains the last one standing in each round.
As for Rakan, he will be the second key unit in this composition, providing the strongest damage with the item combo of Morellonomicon, Spear of Shojin, and Lightning Bow. Although he has less durability than Xin Zhao, just 1-2 uses of Rakan’s skills can eliminate 3-4 enemies.
Next is Sona, this champion only costs 40 energy to use her skill, and if she has 2 Tear of the Goddess, she can continuously spam skills, healing and cleansing debuffs for her carries, Rakan and Xin Zhao. Sona becomes even stronger if equipped with Guardian Angel (turning her into a Guardian) as she will have a shield that lasts throughout the battle.
The other champions are simply there to activate the traits. Arranging the composition like above will ensure Jarvan IV buffs the attack speed for both Xin Zhao and Rakan, while Karma will provide shields and buff Rakan’s attack speed for early skill usage.
Composition with Immortal Mordekaiser

Although not as hot as the above composition, this one can still secure victories based on Mordekaiser’s strength. The source of power lies in the bonus stats from Mystics and Vanguard, giving Mordekaiser around 290 armor, 140 magic resistance, and 1170 health (2-star) without counting items. With additional items like Lightning Bow, Dragon Claw, and Morellonomicon, Mordekaiser can absorb almost all incoming damage from opponents with his shield. Furthermore, if Cosmic Gem is also activated for the 2 Cosmic trait, Mordekaiser will drain a lot of health while having a shield. With the ability to “permanently sever” others thanks to the Grievous Wounds from Morellonomicon, Mordekaiser ensures that he remains the last one standing.
As for Jayce, he will be the main area damage source in the composition. Like Mordekaiser, Jayce also has incredibly strong bonus stats from Vanguard and Mystics. Jayce himself does not have a shield but will be carefully buffed by Karma. With the item combo of Hextech Gunblade, Morellonomicon, and Gauntlet of the Guardian, each of Jayce’s skills usually secures 1-2 kills and fully heals him.
The other champions are mainly there to activate the traits, but Lulu is also very useful in continuously hexing enemies when equipped with energy-boosting items like Spear of Shojin or Tear of the Goddess.
