Patch 10.6 was just released not long ago, yet some prominent issues in the meta have made players start hoping for a new version. Wukong’s rework is too OP, newly added jungle champions are too ineffective, and the issues with gold and experience from jungle camps remain unresolved,… are the main problems causing player dissatisfaction with the current meta.
Here are the 5 changes players least want to see in the upcoming League of Legends patch 10.7:
1. Buffs for Nasus Too OP
Nasus definitely needs some changes to make him more suitable for the current meta, as he currently has one of the lowest win rates in the game (just over 46%). Before the start of Season 10, Nasus could still scale well after the enemy team secured 4 Dragons and Baron, but all that ended when the Soul Dragon provided permanent advantages to its team along with the newly introduced Elder Dragon execution mechanic.

Nasus should perhaps have his Siphoning Strike (Q) adjusted to scale better in the mid-game, a time when he needs to protect key Dragons and Baron Nashor. However, any changes related to the range of his abilities, such as Wither (W), would make Nasus too OP in the top lane. With an 11-second cooldown and a maximum slow of 95% at max level, his W out-ranges most ADCs, except for Ashe, Caitlyn, and Aphelios. Increasing the range of W for Nasus would render opponents helpless against him and would be a nightmare if he gets ahead early.
2. Fiddlestick Rework Not Balanced

Many League of Legends players are interested in the rework of Fiddlestick and genuinely hope he becomes the terrifying nightmare of Runeterra as per his lore. However, Riot Games should also be careful not to make him a real nightmare to face once the rework launches in patch 10.7. Champions that are overpowered after a rework seem to have become a tradition, and players do not want to go through a series of nerfs that still fail to balance a champion like Akali.
3. Reduce Effectiveness of the Taste of Blood Rune on Items
The Taste of Blood rune has always been a fantastic choice for Support and jungle players. The actual effectiveness it provides compared to other runes in the Domination tree is quite impressive.

Reducing the effect of Taste of Blood on items will only shift this rune’s selection to champions that require frequent item activations. Specifically, Veigar, Neeko, and other champions that can effectively utilize the Iceborne Gauntlet rune will benefit the most, while very few other champions will continue to choose it at a level of effectiveness that can be replaced by other runes in the same tree.
4. Nerf the Conditioning Rune
Choosing the Conditioning rune in the Resolve tree is currently a trade-off when considering other options in the tree. If Conditioning is ineffective early game and only activates its effect from the mid to late game, then Bone Plating and Second Wind are very effective early game but weaken as the game progresses.

Delaying the activation time of the Conditioning rune from 10 to 12 minutes will make choosing this rune riskier, as it may not activate at the most critical moments of the game. Conditioning is currently quite balanced and really does not need changes in patch 10.7.
5. Add More Jungle Champions
Recent patches have continually added new champions to the jungle pool, and nearly all of them have failed miserably, having no standing in the meta. The limited state of the jungle champion pool is primarily due to issues with gold and experience from jungle camps, causing junglers to be significantly under-leveled compared to laners and needing to compensate for the economic deficiency from early ganks.

The top jungle champions currently are Lee Sin, Elise, Rek’Sai, and Olaf, all of which have strong ganking potential from level 3 and do not rely too much on level 6 to be effective. Jungle champions dependent on level 6 take too long to reach the necessary power threshold and often fall behind by two or even three levels compared to laners by the time they can go for ganks.
