Faker Approaches the Biggest Record in League of Legends History
As one of the longest-standing professional League of Legends players today, and currently the oldest player still competing in the LCK for the 2025 season, every match of Faker’s seems to have the potential to become a milestone for some record. Soon, Faker is approaching a historic achievement that no one has ever reached: 1000 wins in LCK history.

Currently, Faker is just 6 games away from this remarkable achievement, equivalent to at least 3 more wins. He could accomplish this feat at the upcoming LCK Cup 2025 – a tournament still counted within the LCK system and viewed as a trial for the Fearless Draft mode.
Additionally, Faker’s current win rate is 66.7% – the highest for a player with over 900 games played. For those who may not know, the player closest to Faker in terms of wins, Chovy, is still over 300 wins behind the G.O.A.T of League of Legends (636 compared to 994).

Faker’s Achievement Will Be Unmatched
As mentioned, with a gap of over 300 wins, and the maximum number of wins a player could achieve in a previous LCK season being 42, Chovy would need nearly 9 more seasons to catch up to 1000 wins (equivalent to over 4 more years of professional play). During this time, if Faker continues to play and doesn’t miss any matches, the gap will be very hard to close.

Therefore, it can be said that the achievement Faker is about to reach will be one of the records that will never be broken in the history of League of Legends as well as the LCK. Even if in the future the League of Legends scene in Korea produces another superstar to stand alongside Chovy or Faker at this time.
