After the Rebel trait was heavily nerfed in patch 10.7, most units of this trait have been neglected. While everyone is rushing for Jhin, Irelia, and Kayle, the units from the Rebel trait have been left behind. Therefore, gamers who love this trait in general and ‘God’ Yasuo in particular have created a composition known as “Blade Bro” or more commonly as Blade Master – Time Traveler, centered around Master Yi and Yasuo.

Essentially, this composition is built on two advantages: the first principle is that both Blade Master and Time Traveler received slight buffs in the recent patch. The second principle is that essential units like Master Yi and Yasuo are not in the meta, allowing you to obtain them at 2-star or even 3-star levels more easily than regular compositions.
Building the Composition
In the early game, your composition will not differ from the previous Rebel composition. Yasuo, Ziggs, and Sona are still priority units to purchase at this point. If you see Blitzcrank and Shen appearing early, you can definitely lean towards the Blade Master strategy from the start; the goal at this stage is still to maintain health and earn as much gold as possible.

In the mid-game, the operation of this composition will be slightly different. You still need to level up to 7 and maintain 50 gold, but absolutely do not rush to level 8. The reason is that you need to roll at level 7 to secure 3-star Master Yi and Yasuo, as these are your team’s main carry units; therefore, do not level up to 8 too early to reduce their appearance rate. Of course, you shouldn’t roll all your money like the Spy composition; you still need to keep some capital to complete at level 8.

After reaching level 8, the top priority is to find Lulu for the Mystic buff with Sona. In the late game, the area damage from opponents is extremely strong, and you need to protect your two main carries as best as possible. Moreover, both Master Yi and Yasuo are melee units, so their defensive capabilities are limited; surviving longer is never a disadvantage in Teamfight Tactics.

Appropriate Items
First, let’s talk about Yasuo. Essentially, this champion is no different from Season 2, so the mission remains to eliminate the opponent’s carries. Therefore, the two most essential items for ‘God’ will be Guardian Angel and Infinity Edge; they not only increase damage and sustain but also help this champion survive longer and ‘hasagi’ continuously.

Your other main carry will be Master Yi, this champion likely only needs one damage item, which is Guinsoo’s Rageblade, as the skill already provides ample sustain and attack effects. Importantly, you need to find defensive items for this champion. Items like Thornmail when facing too much physical damage, Dragon Claw to counter Sorcerers, or Quicksilver to dodge control effects are indispensable for Master Yi.
