In the early hours of April 15th, Riot Games officially unveiled the latest images of the 2019 Worlds Champion skins for the FunPlus Phoenix team. As previously announced, this year’s Worlds skin group will include 5 champions: FPX Gangplank (Gimgoon), FPX Lee Sin (Tian), FPX Malphite (Doinb), FPX Vayne (LWX), and FPX Thresh (Crisp).

The 2019 Worlds skins of FPX are considered to share many similarities with the 2016 Worlds skins of SKT T1. This is mainly due to the dominant colors of both skin groups being Red – Yellow. Additionally, the theme of the two teams also relates to the “wings” imagery (SKT’s logo is golden wings, while FPX’s is the Fire Phoenix).
Of course, the FPX skin group also makes its own unique impressions, with skill effects reflecting the logo of this team, along with character designs that have a “superhero” vibe. Among the 5 Worlds skins, Malphite and Gangplank are the first champions featured in this skin line, while Lee Sin, Thresh, and Vayne already had a Worlds skin before (SKT Lee Sin and SKT Vayne from Worlds 2013, SSW Thresh from Worlds 2014).
