FunPlus Phoenix’s World Championship skins have officially landed on the test server just a few hours ago. As one of the most anticipated skin lines each year, every release of the skins honoring the Worlds champions becomes a topic of intense discussion within the League of Legends community.
This year’s FPX skins are no exception. As soon as they appeared, the 2019 Worlds champion skin received a flurry of mixed comments, yet one common point that many gamers noticed is that the design style of this skin line seems heavily influenced by the Super Sentai series.

Additionally, it seems that FPX Gangplank is receiving the most positive feedback, from the cool character design to the meticulously crafted skill effects.
Moreover, the recall animation of this skin line has many interesting points that the gaming community has discovered:
– Looks like the Power Rangers (the American version of Super Sentai), right? I like them already.
– Fun fact: The 4 cats in FPX Vayne’s recall animation are the 4 “royal” cats kept in FPX’s Gaming House. Gimgoon once shared about them in an interview, saying: The cats in our Gaming House play video games better than LWX.

>>> The meaning of FPX Gangplank’s recall animation simply hints that Gimgoon is the most toxic player in FPX, often banging on the table and yelling all over the Gaming House whenever his teammates feed.
>>>>>> No wonder he has such a safe playstyle; since he often yells at others for feeding, he can’t afford to feed himself.

– The sadness of Nautilus.
– This might be the worst skin line among the Worlds skins. If you don’t believe it, just check out the comments on Twitter. If you look at the splash art without any annotations, many will exclaim: What champions are these? And that’s why, it can only be said that they are too ugly.
– Wow, Gimgoon really has an eye for aesthetics; FPX Gangplank looks amazing, especially with the FPX logo displayed when he fires.
– Look at those masks and uniforms; do they look like the Power Rangers (Super Sentai) or what?

– It really does look like it; did these guys just watch Super Sentai and then sit down to draw skins?
– This is a skin line with quite a unique concept, except for the fact that it’s hard to tell which champion is which, especially with Lee Sin and Vayne; there are no identifying features for these two champions at all.
>>> I looked at Vayne and wondered why the Ezreal in this skin has breasts??? The distinguishing features of the champions are not clear at all.
– I’ve always wondered why Riot hasn’t drawn inspiration from Super Sentai to design skins in League of Legends. But now I am satisfied. I’m not joking; I’ve really dreamed of a Super Sentai skin line for a long time, and I will definitely buy these skins.
