New Information About T1 Coming to Vietnam
As previously reported, at the end of November, VPBank announced that they would invite Faker to Vietnam. This has truly been a shocking news for the Esports community in general and League of Legends in particular in the S-shaped country. No need to say, T1 is one of the most fan-favored teams, and just the name Faker is enough to create a buzz. However, recently, according to VPBank’s announcement, not only Faker but the entire T1 team will be present. The timing is likely to be just before the KeSPA Cup 2026, which falls around late December.

The Community is Excited but Also Regrets a Former T1 Star
Of course, the fact that the entire T1 team might participate in this fan meeting is a rare opportunity for Vietnamese fans to witness and interact with Faker and his teammates in person. Since the 2019 season, there have been no major League of Legends tournaments held in Vietnam. Although the VCS always has one of the highest viewer counts in tournaments, fans here have only been able to watch their favorite players through screens.
However, there are also many opinions expressing regret that at the time T1 comes to Vietnam, it coincides with the season when Gumayusi has left this lineup. Perhaps anyone who regularly follows T1 knows that in the ZOFGK lineup and later DOFGK, Gumayusi was the player who “pampered” Vietnamese fans the most. He often interacted in broken Vietnamese with the audience and has worn shirts sent by Vietnamese fans on several occasions.
– Guma’s fans must be really upset.
– It’s okay, HLE comes to Vietnam every year.
– For now, it’s about meeting Faker, then waiting for HLE.

However, Gumayusi’s fans may not need to be too saddened. Since establishing the star-studded lineup until now, HLE has frequently held fan meetings in Vietnam. Therefore, there is a high chance that they will continue their activities this year, and fans will have the opportunity to meet Gumayusi, just in a different jersey.
